Salyer-Lee Chapter 1417

The Salyer-Lee 1417 Chapter of the United Daughters was first organized in 1912, with 34 members. The chapter shut down in 1959 and then re-chartered in 2003 with Nancy Clark Brown as President. We now have 25 members.
Our current project is producing the calendar (below) as a keepsake of the 2007 Battles at Wise Re-enactment.

Our cover photo won "Best in Show" at the exhibit of Battles of Wise Re-enactment. The exhibit was held at the Gallery of the Lonesome Pine Regional Library at Wise VA, during the month of September.
